These images were created by cutting up and splicing together found slides. It is a challenge to smoothly cut specific images out of the celluloid film and it always looks a lot more jagged and haphazard after the image is scanned and blown up. Like in my work with negatives, I find this unexpected quality to making these slide images exciting. This is a small selection of the slide collages I’ve created.
